April 26, 2008 Guest lecture at the NDU St. Pölten: Students of "Master of Design" will listen to a lecture of Selma Prodanovic about the necessity of networking for the creative industries.

March 28, 2008 Leading Ladies Award 08: Selma Prodanovic has been nominated for the Leading Ladies Award 2008 for "Networker of the Year".

On January 27, 2008, the University of Sarajevo and the Jewish Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina will mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day by hosting an international roundtable discussion at the Institute for the Research of Crimes against Humanity and International Law, at which Brainswork Senior Consultant, Muhamed Mesic, will give keynote remarks on "social cohesion for survival" - how non-Jews in Bosnia and Denmark worked in an coordinated effort to save the lives of their Jewish neighbours. Mesic, who combines social networking research and conflict studies, has spoken on this topic at Universities on three continents.

December 5, 2007 Tribute to Muhamed Mesic: Muhamed Mesic, Senior Consultant at Brainswork, has been honoured with the title Doctor honoris causa by the University of Sarajevo.

November 9-14, 2007 Creative Clusters: One of the most important creative industry conferences took place in locations across London that are home to world-leading creative enterprises and culture-led regeneration projects. CNO Selma Prodanovic was contributing to the innovative event by holding a presentation on the crucial topic of sustainable luxury in this world.

November 8, 2007 , Euroforum: communication Vienna: This unique event of the Advertising and Marketing Communications Industry Professional Association of Austria took place in Vienna, Austria. This conference is the only one which connects advertising and marketing professionals from Austria and the countries of Central and South Eastern Europe. Its mission statement was and still is "connecting businesses and communications". This was achieved by organizing various workshops, giving people the opportunity to get to know each other and creating a platform for potential synergies and interactive experience- and knowledge exchange. The event has been organized by Brainswork.

October 15, 2007: Muhamed Mesic, Senior Consultant on Sustainable Development to the Brainswork Group, has been awarded an Echenberg  Fellowship on occasion of the Global Conference on Human Rights, hosted by McGill University  in Montréal, Québec, Canada. This year's conference topic was the prevention on genocide and saw Muhamed and 35 other young leaders in law, politics, and international development join the leaders of today in a global effort to promote human rights and prevent genocide and other abuses in the international arena.

July 7, 2007 Summa Cum Laude Youth Music Festival Vienna: This event gives the most talented youth choirs, bands and orchestras from around the world a unique opportunity to perform, compete and, most importantly, interact on an international level. The true focus of the Youth Music Festival was to offer the opportunity to create lasting connections across all borders. Music is the language all share, and this global event was building bridges between the many young participants, representing many different countries. Selma Prodanovic has been asked to deliver the keynote speech about “ Music changing the world ”.

June 13, 2007: T he beaches Slatina, Lido and Tomasevac in Opatija, as well as Peharovo and Kvarner in Lovran - all operated by Brainswork-client Rivijera –were awarded with the "blue flag". The "blue flag" works towards sustainable development at beaches/marinas through strict criteria dealing with water quality, environmental education and information, environmental management, and safety and other services.

March 12, 2007 WU Executive Academy Workshop Vienna: special work shop for women "Presenting Myself & My Work " was held by Selma Prodanovic. She assisted women with discovering what's so unique about them and learning how to use charisma in business, academic and social networking.
